We are pleased to announce that Cécile Rouméas has joined our firm per 1 March 2025. Cécile brings a wealth of experience in litigation to the firm, both as a former defense counsel to some of the main financial institutions in the Netherlands and as a counsel to plaintiff organizations.
On 24 and 25 April 2025 our colleagues Cécile Rouméas and Damiën Berkhout participated in the Perfect Law Global Class Actions & Mass Torts Conference in Londen, the UK. The conference is a yearly, international forum where judges, lawyers, academics, funders and other mass tort experts gather to discuss recent and possible future developments in collective actions.
On 6 November 2024, the Amsterdam District Court ruled on the methodology to be used for the damage calculation in follow-on claims of indirect purchasers from the air cargo cartel.
