On 24 and 25 April 2025 our colleagues Cécile Rouméas and Damiën Berkhout participated in the Perfect Law Global Class Actions & Mass Torts Conference in Londen, the UK. The conference is a yearly, international forum where judges, lawyers, academics, funders and other mass tort experts gather to discuss recent and possible future developments in class and collective actions.
Lindenbaum’s managing partner Damien Berkhout participated in a panel relating to litigation funding in global mass torts. The panel discussed developments in the US, Australia and Europe, and made predictions about likely future developments and challenges for future funding of mass torts claims.
During other panels, a host of topics related to class actions and mass torts where discussed. Topics included subjects such as the use of AI, discovery actions, claim management, and forum shopping.
Lindenbaum congratulates Perfect Law with a terrific event, filled with stimulating discussions and perspectives. We look forward to the next event.
