Meeri Majaniemi is a Legal Research Associate at Lindenbaum. She is a Finnish-born Master of Laws in International and European Law, specializing in Competition Law and Regulation.
Meeri has a Master of Laws in International and European Law, specializing in Competition and Regulation at the University of Amsterdam. The Master’s study has provided her with an in-depth knowledge of EU Competition Law, market regulation and current EU regulatory trends. She also has a Bachelor of Laws in European Law from Maastricht University. In the study, she gathered experience of comparative law in multiple jurisdictions and areas, focusing on business and criminal laws. Alongside her studies, she also did a Minor in Entrepreneurship at the School of Business and Economics.
In the past, she has worked as an intern in a Helsinki-based law firm, providing insight into multiple EU-level issues. During her Master’s studies, she did an internship at Lindenbaum gathering experience in the field of research and litigation from an EU law perspective.
Meeri is passionate about competition, privacy and environmental questions on the EU level.
