Madelief is paralegal at Lindenbaum.
Madelief began her legal career at Utrecht Law College, the honours programme within the Bachelor of Law programme at Utrecht University. Through various in-depth assignments, she came into contact with European law at an early stage and quickly discovered that this was the area of law that most interested her. During her exchange at the Università Roma Tre, she took courses in European financial law and data law, which further broadened her academic horizons.
After completing her bachelor’s degree, Madelief completed a master’s degree in European Competition and Regulation at the University of Amsterdam. Within this programme, she was able to further specialise in European competition law and the broader regulatory issues that come with it.
Alongside her studies, Madelief was active in Model United Nations Utrecht, where she further developed her argumentation and negotiation skills by participating in international debate and lobbying competitions at the universities of Oxford and Harvard.
